C++ Engineer Windows
Senior
FinDev is looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join a team developing a large-scale electronic trading platform for the Fixed Income market.
You’ll work on a mature, business-critical C++ system that supports real-time trading workflows, developing new functionality, enhancing existing components, and solving complex technical and production issues.
This is a great fit for an engineer who enjoys working with large and complex C++ codebases, digging into existing systems, debugging challenging problems, and improving software incrementally while keeping a critical production platform stable and reliable.

What you will do
- Develop, enhance, and maintain C++ components of a large-scale real-time trading platform
- Work with an established codebase, investigating existing functionality and implementing new features and improvements
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical, performance, and production issues
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through implementation and production support
- Work closely with business, QA, Support, and other engineering teams across the trading platform
- Take ownership of technical problems, investigate root causes, and drive issues through resolution.
Required
- 7+ years of professional C++ development experience
- Strong knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming
- Hands-on experience with multithreading and concurrent programming.
- Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, and templates
- Experience developing backend/server-side applications
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical field
- Advanced English (B2+/C1) with strong communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial systems, electronic trading, or Fixed Income
- Professional C++ development experience on Windows, particularly with Visual Studio
- Understanding of networking and communication protocol fundamentals
- Experience with Perl or shell scripting.
