Senior

We are seeking an experienced Java developer  to support three critical projects related to the Market Data services domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, cloud-native applications, and Kubernetes. Experience with AWS EKS, on-prem Kubernetes, and working with time series databases is highly desirable.

What you will do

Time Series Database Onboarding System

  • Maintain and enhance a time series database system that hosts and onboards vendor and in-house time series data.
  • Streamline the onboarding process for new data sources.
  • Work with a cloud-native product deployed on AWS EKS.
  • Handle infrastructure-related tasks involved in onboarding new sources.

Static data Unified API

  • Develop and maintain a unified API that collects data from multiple data sources.
  • Ensure the API supplies data in user-specified formats.
  • Collaborate on enhancements and optimizations for the XData project.

Legacy Service Modernization

  • Improve functionality of a service currently running on an old RHEL8 on-prem server.
  • Work on the Kubernetes-based implementation of this service to match and enhance the legacy functionality.
  • Ensure smooth transition and feature parity between old and new implementations.

Required


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar
  • 5+ years of Java programming(Java Core + multithreading + Spring Boot). 
  • Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS EKS and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with time series databases and data onboarding processes.
  • Experience working with on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have


  • Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data integration and API design best practices.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems.
  • Prior experience in migrating or modernizing legacy systems.
