Integration Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Integration Engineer to join our Platform security team. The successful candidate will have a development background, support and configuration of secrets management solutions (Hashi Corp Vault is preferred), working knowledge of Terraform and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), as well as basic understanding of application security principles and best practices. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual, who can work independently and as part of the team to deliver high quality software solutions and services.

What you will do
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Assist with defining integration points with existing systems and applications.
- Work on detailed design documentation and diagrams
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for Services and applications owned by the team.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions.
- Contribute to on-call support and planned deployment activities as part of the team schedule.
Required
- Design and implement repeatable, automated deployments using Terraform.
- Development experience and proficiency in at least one of the modern programming languages (Java, Python – preferred).
- Implement and manage HashiCorp Vault for secure storage and secrets management.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to application performance and security vulnerabilities.
- Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and concepts.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Write automated test cases for implemented solutions.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Create and modify CI/CD pipeline jobs using GitHub Actions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud security and application development.
Nice to have
- Strong communication and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog) and CICD process (GitHub actions).
- Experience with Hashi Corp Vault and general secrets management.
- Experience with scripting languages or Java.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
