QA Automation Engineer (POMS Ticketing)

Findev is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join the QA team on the POMS Ticketing project.
A Portfolio Order Management System (POMS) is a software platform used by asset managers and traders to manage the entire lifecycle of investment orders and portfolios. It facilitates the efficient execution, tracking, and reporting of trades and positions in financial markets.
In this role, you'll work on a fast-evolving project alongside strong developers and QA engineers, tackling complex technical and business challenges together.
We are looking for a QA engineer who:

- Enjoys working with complex backend systems and data flows.
- Approaches testing as an engineering discipline, writing code to verify complex business and technical behavior.
- Wants to grow in automation, system-level testing, and architecture understanding

What you will do
- Develop and maintain automated tests in Java.
- Design new test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing (including upstream and downstream systems).
- Investigate discrepancies uncovered during regression testing.
- Support and maintain testing environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, business analysts, fellow QA engineers, and support teams
Required
- Experience in backend test automation with Java.
- Hands-on experience with UI test automation.
- SQL knowledge.
- Experience in reading and analyzing logs.
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and testing processes
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD (Github).
- Familiarity with Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience with Kafka and/or other real-time messaging systems
