AI Engineer

• Design and own the architecture of production AI agents and multi-agent systems.
• Build orchestration layers that manage reasoning, tool execution, memory, and workflow state.
• Develop integrations between AI systems, analytical engines, internal platforms, and real-time data sources.
• Define clear boundaries between model-driven decisions and deterministic business logic.
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows, approval mechanisms, and safety guardrails.
• Decide when a problem requires an AI agent and when a traditional workflow is the better solution.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and infrastructure costs across the entire AI stack.
• Improve response times through caching, model routing, context management, and parallel execution.
• Design scalable distributed systems with queues, retries, rate-limit management, and fault tolerance.
• Build evaluation frameworks, regression suites, and benchmarking systems to measure agent quality.
• Implement validation layers and hallucination-mitigation mechanisms.
• Ensure that all AI decisions are explainable, auditable, and reproducible.
• Build recommendation and optimization engines powered by historical and real-time data.
• Partner with engineering, data, and quantitative teams to deliver conversational analytics and intelligent insights.

We are looking for an engineer first and an AI specialist second. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals, distributed systems expertise, and hands-on experience building production-grade AI systems at scale.

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in designing and building large-scale production systems.
• 5+ years of experience in applied ML, AI, or data-intensive platforms.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and operating LLM-powered systems in production environments.
• Proven experience architecting complex systems end-to-end, from design and implementation to monitoring, evaluation, and optimization.
• Experience leading technical decisions and owning critical architectural components.
• Demonstrated experience building agentic systems, including tool-calling loops, orchestration layers, and multi-agent workflows used by real users.

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or trading systems.
• Understanding of electronic trading workflows or capital markets.
• Familiarity with fixed-income products and execution analytics.
• Experience integrating AI systems with real-time data streams.
• Experience building recommendation or optimization engines.
• Experience operating large-scale LLM systems in production.
• Knowledge of model routing, caching strategies, and inference cost optimization.
• Experience with conversational analytics and natural-language interfaces over complex datasets.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Experience working with evaluation frameworks and automated benchmarking systems.
