Quantitative Developer

Senior

You will join a specialized, multidisciplinary team working on next-generation AI-driven pricing algorithms for trading systems.

The project sits at the intersection of:

  • Quantitative research
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning (including large models)
  • Trading technology

The team focuses on building and deploying advanced models that leverage real-time and historical market data to:

  • Improve pricing accuracy
  • Enhance execution quality
  • Generate actionable market insights

This is a high-impact environment where research, engineering, and trading converge, with solutions deployed directly into production trading systems requiring high performance and low latency.

Locations

  • Cyprus
  • Poland
  • Spain

What you will do

  • Design and implement AI-based pricing models using large-scale machine learning approaches (e.g., deep learning, transformers, reinforcement learning)

  • Translate quantitative research into robust, production-grade trading systems

  • Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for model training, backtesting, and deployment

  • Process and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to extract predictive signals

  • Optimize data pipelines and systems for performance and low-latency execution

  • Monitor and improve deployed models, ensuring stability, accuracy, and consistency over time

  • Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, data scientists, and traders to align technical solutions with business objectives

Tech Stack:

  • Programming: Python (primary), C++ / Rust (optional)
  • Machine Learning: TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks
  • Data: SQL, large-scale data processing
  • Infrastructure & Systems: Distributed systems, real-time processing (e.g., Kafka)
  • Data Platforms: Snowflake, Redshift (or similar)

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computational scientific discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry)

  • 2+ years of experience in Quantitative Development, Analytical Software Engineering, or similar roles (including relevant personal or academic projects)

  • Strong programming skills in Python

  • Hands-on experience building, training, and deploying machine learning models

  • Solid understanding of applied mathematics, statistics, and numerical methods

  • Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems

  • Strong software engineering skills, including writing efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with low-latency programming (C++ or Rust)
  • Familiarity with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Experience with real-time data systems (e.g., Kafka)
  • Understanding of financial markets, market microstructure, or trading systems
  • Experience working in high-performance or production-critical environments

Benefits

  • Flexible work setup: remote or a hybrid model.
  • Remote Work: reside in Georgia, Serbia, Spain, Cyprus, or Poland, or opt for a hybrid model if based in Kraków or Limassol.
